Welcome to my website, my name is John Piparo and this is my '96 Pontiac Sunfire 2.4L GT. I have been working on this car for several years now, but more recently have been focusing on making it more of a show car, although this is my daily driver.

What do you know, another full year without updating this site. Like I said in my previous update, alot has changed in my life and this car is no longer near the top of my priority list. Though it is not my daily driver anymore, I still do drive it very often and take good care of it. One thing that I have added to the car that I think turned out great are another pair of custom headlights that I made myself. I used S2000 projectors with Honda Pilot shrouds, and fabbed up a nice little blinker in the corner to finish it off. The light output is phenomenal, and these are actually completely waterproof unlike my previous lights.

New pictures will be added shortly, and also I thought the site itself could use a slight facelift, so enjoy.

Wow, its hard to believe its been a whole year since I've sat down and updated the site a little. A whole lot has changed in my life since I last posted (I'm going to be a daddy real soon), and the car has kinda taken the back seat to more important things for a while. But I do have a few new goodies that have changed the look of the car again. I was lucky enough to snag some real nice parts off a couple GM concept J-bodies that were being parted-out online, and they are the black leather seats, 19" Racing Hart M5 3-peice wheels (which I took apart and painted black metallic with blue pearl), and monster chrome SSBC front and rear brake kit. Also another big update is my new trunk setup that is finally done. I had alot of fun designing the plexiglass pieces, building the panels, and setting up all the LEDs. It all came together just the way I wanted, and I'm really happy with the outcome.

One little setback is that I yet again ripped off my rear bumper (really bad this time on both sides, and that marked the 3rd time this has happened). So I have been slowely re-fiberglassing and repairing it over the past couple months, and I'm glad to say that this past week I finally got it in primer and ready for paint. I sure do wish this kit was urethane, but it is what it is, and if it breaks again I'm going back to factory GT bumpers and calling it a day.
